Client Ads is looking to add a Trainer (12-month contract) to our Knowledge Management and Learning team.

Summary:
We are looking for a talented training professional (12-month contract) to conduct training and development programs for Client Ads Product & Engineering teams.

You will report to the Director of Knowledge Management and Learning and be responsible for collecting information, conducting research, and creating training materials and programs. You will work closely with engineering, product management, and other organizational stakeholders to design and lead effective, repeatable onboarding and training programs that can be adopted globally.

What will you do:

• Develop strategy and execution for custom training initiatives and conduct structured training programs for internal employees.
• Plan and facilitate recurring webinars and present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
• Gather information from product managers, engineers, and other subject matter experts to create or curate training assets and ensure stakeholder alignment and content accuracy.
• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups or consultation with managers and executive stakeholders.
• Build solid cross-functional relationships with product, engineering, product marketing, marketing, and operations teams for smooth coordination and execution of training deliverables.
• Stay ahead of organizational training needs to update curriculum and content as required.
• Develop training presentations, platform manuals, handouts, and course materials.
• Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness. Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.

What you will need

• 5-7 years of corporate training experience, preferably in a technical domain.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive and accurate training materials and facilitate clear training sessions.
• Previous experience with essential office tools, including MS Office, Google Docs/Drive, Slack, and screenshot technology; High aptitude for learning tools like Jira, Confluence.
• Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a program.
• Ability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively.

Nice to haves (bonus skills - these are not required, but are a plus):

• Experience working with an LMS.
