Qualifications:
1. 5 years demonstrated strong knowledge and understanding of strategic recruitment practices and operations related to the placement of qualified and diverse applicants.
2. Requires analytical ability and judgment in conducting interviews and in screening applicants; objectivity must be exercised in determining qualifications and recommending selections.
3. Ability to maintain confidential information and materials.
4. Strong written and communication skills. Requires tact, diplomacy and excellent oral and written communication skills
5. Must have excellent computer skills especially MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
6. Excellent interpersonal, emotional intelligence and problem solving skills.
7. Solid team player and able to work independently.
8. Some HR generalist/business partner experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
Manages and coordinates the recruitment & selection process for exempt, non-exempt and some union positions for assigned client groups by performing the following:
Work collaboratively with clients to identify workforce/staffing needs, create requisitions and support requisition approval process; evaluate employment applications, identify qualified applicants and facilitate internal & external candidate assessment processes; write position advertisements and post requisitions; identify and utilize online recruiting sources to identify and source candidates; facilitates and evaluates reference check, background checks (including employment history/credentials check) and drug/physical screening as part of the pre-employment contingency process to determine eligibility for hire; applies compensation philosophy to determine appropriate offer amount; extend employment offers.
Provides guidance and counsel to clients on EEO/Affirmative action issues to ensure workforce diversity. Takes appropriate measures to ensure compliance to ADA and company policy to avoid discrimination of disabled employees/applicants (i.e. identify alternate work for disabled employees returning to work) with company negotiated bargaining unit agreements and other state and federal regulations, i.e. EEOC, ADA, FLSA to ensure best hiring practices are enforced.
