Job Title: L2/L3 Production Support Engineer - Retail Domain

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced L2/L3 Production Support Engineer with a strong background in the retail domain and Java Fullstack technical experience, some exposure to DataBricks. Support engineer will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide L2/L3 support for retail applications and systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Incident Management: Manage and resolve incidents within SLA, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Problem Management: Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and ensure high availability and reliability of retail systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, solutions, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in L2/L3 production support, with a focus on the retail domain.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in retail systems and applications, SQL, Unix/Linux, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell), and monitoring tools.
  • Java Fullstack Experience: Fair Technical Understanding in Java Fullstack development, including front-end and back-end technologies. - JAVA, REST, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, Web Services, Java Script, JQuery, SQL Servers, Mongo dB, Node, Angular, JWT, Oauth2
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skillsets:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies.

Additional Pointers -

1.Good understanding of at Devops - Jenkins, Kubernetes and Argo  CD
2.Knowledge on Microsoft Cloud Platform -  Microsoft Azure services like Containers ,Batch etc.,
3.Good understanding of Java Microservices  and basic coding skills - Java, SQL
4.Troubleshooting skills with understanding of checking and debugging with logs in Graffana
5.Basic networking skills with understanding of Ipaddresses, Cloud Servers, ACLs, inbound and outbound systems, Akamai layer -Apigee
