Summary:
The main function of the Data Analyst is to provide business intelligence support and supporting areas by means of both repeatable and ad hoc reporting delivery reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc) that enable informed business decisions.

Job Responsibilities:
o Responsible for contributing to the strategic direction, P&L growth, and digital experience for the business on Samsung.com by developing new digital products and promotions, delivering a best-in-class digital customer experience, and scaling the direct-to-consumer (DtC) channel within Samsung. Key areas of responsibility include direct-to-consumer strategy implementation, cross-functional promotional and product development, on-site merchandising and digital experience optimization, identifying and driving operational efficiencies, and building a best-in-class shopping experience.

Role and Responsibilities
Manage:

o Business ownership for Tablet and PC sales on Samsung.com: Revenue, 2x top line growth, Margin, Budget, Promotions, Marketing and key stakeholder to impact the roadmap and long-term growth strategy.
o Liaison with internal / external / HQ partners across: Product marketing, corporate marketing, category management, supply chain and fulfillment to implement bundling strategies to achieve 2x growth from 2022 (increasing attach, AOV and overall margin)

Build:
o Create a best-in-class shopping experience by partnering with Merchandising, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, and Customer Service; always optimizing and focusing and removing purchase barriers and creating a customer-centric, shopping experience.

Innovate and Optimize:
o Think outside-the-box, leverage data, and build insights to create business cases to build scalable products and promotions to drive the growth of your business; develop functional capabilities to test, learn, and iterate to accelerate category growth.
o Subject Matter Expertise in Promotion planning (optimize promotion design to drive topline + bottom line).
o Develop data-drive perspectives on the end-to-end operations of the business, from upper-funnel marketing and merchandising, to on-site path-to-purchase and experience, through conversion, fulfillment and customer service;
o Identify areas of opportunity and work to drive operational efficiencies (margin improvement, roadmap development, optimized fulfillment etc.)

Skills and Qualifications:
o College degree required; MBA a plus and 6+ years of experience in Product/Trade/Category Marketing experience for Technology, Consumer Product and/or Consumer Electronics is required.
o Extensive experience implementing category strategy, preferably in eCommerce.
o Knowledge and passion for direct-to-consumer eCommerce business practices and operations. Digital UI/UX enhancements experience a plus.
o Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and navigate matrixed organizations.
o Strong analytical, data-driven problem solving and decision-making skills.
o Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.
o Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
o Experience with Tableau and Confluence a plus.
