Raj Varma is the Senior Vice President of Client Services at Intelliswift, responsible for managing the digital engineering and R&D services for multiple Fortune 100 customers in HiTech, retail, CPG, ISV, healthcare and life sciences, medical devices, MedTech, media and entertainment business for the West Region.

Focused on growing Intelliswift’s product engineering services and solutions, Raj’s hands-on leadership approach focuses on value generation for customer stakeholders and enables our customers’ corporate business goals by leveraging the in-house deep domain expertise, innovative products, platforms, and services.

Previously, Raj was the Founder and CEO of an advisory firm, guiding global organizations on sales and R&D strategies, especially in healthcare & life sciences, bioinformatics, genomics, and medical devices. He is a board member at multiple global organizations. He also contributes to Harvard Business Review and other business journals, focusing on topics such as innovation, GenAI, and next-gen technologies.

With over 25 years in strategic sales leadership, Raj has held prominent roles, including leading North America’s digital engineering and R&D services business at Tech Mahindra across multiple Fortune 100 customers for medical devices, healthcare and life sciences, retail, consumer goods, heavy manufacturing, aerospace, transportation, appliances & OEMs based in the US, Europe, and APAC regions.

At HCL, he led a multi-million-dollar engineering & R&D services business portfolio in medical devices and IVD, pan-continents. His team handled R&D, sustenance, cost takeout, regulatory compliance, supply chain, manufacturing, data, AI, and cybersecurity projects.

Prior to that, he led the retail pharmacy business at UST Global. During his 14-year tenure, he was instrumental in building and expanding UST’s strategic partnerships with multiple Fortune 100 clients across various domains.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Kerala University. He was also an accredited badminton Player for the USA Senior Badminton Team.
